About the Role 

We are looking for a Scrum Master & People Manger to support our development teams in building next-generation aviation technologies while strengthening our organizational culture. This hybrid role combines agile facilitation with people-focused responsibilities. You will guide teams in applying Scrum practices, foster continuous improvement, and at the same time play an important role in HR initiatives—supporting recruitment, conducting 1:1 meetings, and shaping individual development paths. 

Success in this role means not only ensuring high-quality delivery and smooth collaboration but also creating an environment where every team member can thrive, grow, and feel engaged. 

Key Responsibilities 

Agile & Scrum 

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives). 
  • Support Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization. 
  • Ensure transparency of work progress and dependencies across teams. 
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder team productivity. 
  • Promote agile best practices and coach team members on self-organization. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and feedback. 

People Manager  

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members. 
  • Prepare and monitor individual development programs. 
  • Take part in recruitment processes, including candidate interviews and assessments. 
  • Support onboarding of new employees. 
  • Contribute to building a culture of trust, ownership, and adaptability. 

Requirements 

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach 
  • Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts, build trust, and motivate teams. 
  • Experience in supporting people’s development and/or recruitment processes. 
  • Fluency in Polish (C1) and ability to read technical documentation (B1). 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience in the aviation, transport, or safety-critical software domains. 
  • Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence or similar tools. 
  • Scrum Master certification (PSM I/II, CSM, or equivalent). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Background in HR, organizational development, or coaching is a plus.

Recruitment Process 

  1. Initial Conversation with the Hiring Manager (15–20 minutes)

An introduction to AP-Tech and the specific team. The candidate has the opportunity to ask questions. A few questions about previous experience and motivation for applying are also covered. 

  1. Role-Specific Interview (up to 1 hour)

A deeper discussion focused on the candidate’s skills and knowledge relevant to the role. This may include practical exercises, case studies, or situational questions, depending on the position. 

  1. (Optional) Practical Assignment

For some roles, a short assignment may be provided to complete at home, typically requiring 2–3 hours. This allows candidates to demonstrate their problem-solving approach and work style. 

  1. (Optional) Meeting with the Leadership Team

An additional meeting to explore AP-Tech’s culture and values, and to ensure alignment with the company’s vision. 

  1. Decision

After completing all stages, the candidate receives clear feedback and information about the next steps.
